Here is my dilemma. I have a set of HD 580s, and SR 225s and love them. I'll have a Gilmore Lite soon to round out my home set up with just a new source being needed (in the works). Now I've been mulling over a nice set of portable cans as I walk around campus a lot and I just can't bring myself to use the 225s (I actually tried it). I was going to save for some Shures's but with the Grado Street styles coming out and me loving the Grado house sound should I just go with those? I'm guessing that they will be a whole lot less expensive. I'm heavily leaning towards this route, but just wondered if anyone had an opinion.

I like the Grado sound and am waiting for the streetstyles. I once heard the SR40 with an Aperhead 47 - very, very nice; can't wait to get the streestyles with a Twinstarr Black - good inexpensive portable set up. Just don't know how long the streetsytles will take to come to market - Grado said by the new year but who knows?
