Hi all.
BROKE ass college student here, so I would like some quick advice.
I currently own some Sennheiser HD 590's and a Creek headphone amp. I like my sound, but cant say I LOVE IT.
Anyhow, I have been getting into some audio recording/mixing, and I need an in ear sound isolating headphone that doesnt leak out anythign for my recordings.
Here's the catch, I cant afford to just invest 200$+ in new phones unless I sell my current ones. Comfort isnt a HUGE issue, but I want quality, a flat curve, and somethign that IS quality.
Basically, im torn between the Etymotics ER4, and the Shure E4. I have never heard either, but im curious to know if one is BETTER or not for audio recording engineer's. Is comfort a LOT better on the Shure's?!?
Also, do either have replaceable cables? Im ALWAYS running voer my cables on my sennheisers and the detachable cord has been a LIFESAVER!!!! I consider this a BIG selling feature!!!!
Thanks for any help/advice!!!!
