Loving my Sennheiser IE 200, but it started glitching on the left side with what sounds like a bad contact between the cable and the earpiece. When it starts happening and I gently yank on the left side ear hook, the music interruption responds accordingly, which leads me to that hypothesis.
In order to try and figure out if it's an issue with the cable or the earpiece, I had the idea of simply inverting the left and right cables. To my surprise, once I do that there is no more bad contact or glitch. I've listened for hours at a time with no issue. As soon as I invert the cable back, it happens again. So I'm at a loss as to what's going on.
Wondering if anyone here has either seen this before, or have any ideas as to how to further test this.
PS: all listening done via Qudelix 5K and iphone if that matters.
