Most of the Glenn Gould recordings I have are of his famous Bach interpretations. I was wondering if anyone here has experience with Glenn Gould performing the works of other great composers? If so please let us know which cd to look for!

Also, there is a series of cd's being released by Sony that covers a large portion of Goulds Bach Performances. They are of course, sublime, so go get them if you don't have them already!

May I suggest Brahms Ballades? I believe it's a 2 CD set couple with some intermezzos...
He plays the 4 ballades like one continuous piece and take it at a rather slow pace but amazingly in accordance with the score (by GG's standard of course). U will like it!

My problem with Gould's recordings is his vocalizations while playing. They detract from the music and I'm in the group that just doesn't need to hear them.
