So I'm trying to see if it's necessary for me to buy a DAP with a line in plug. I like the idea of directly recording from a source, and yet I'm struggling to think of examples if even I may need it. I am not a musician, and I can't think of any situations on the go where I may need to use this feature. So is it just a gimmick for me personally?
