Hey all,
I am completely new to everything that is headphones and I need some advice in choosing a nice (but not too spendy) pair of headphones. Here's what I am looking for:
Sounds good on an iPod (where it will be used most often)
Has good bass (for significant playing of hip-hop/rap)
Small enough to be portable
Aesthetically pleasing is a huge plus

All of this for $150 or less is my ideal. Like I said, I am no audiophile but I am looking for a nice pair for a good price. I am considering the ATH-M50s but am completely open to any suggestions.

If looks are important, I would say ATH-ES7 (FWIR) - looks good, rather small, doesn!t need an amp, good sound.

I forgot to mention that I would prefer closed headphones for the isolation benefits...But still open to suggestions regarding other styles
