Anytime I try to play a media file in VLC Media Player, I create a list of the files that will follow it and since I am usually watching anime, all the files in the playlist are the same format and usually from the same source. In many cases, with dual audio files, I will set the first file I am watching to playback in Japanese with English Subtitles. The problem is though, that despite everything I try, those settings do not stick when the player moves to the next file and I have to rush through to get the files back on the right settings the minute they start. Is there some way that I am missing to set these settings and get them to stay for the duration of a playlist?
