Hi folks,
I'm just getting started in the vintage hi-fi world and have picked up a nice turntable and set of speakers to get started with. The turntable is a micro MR-711 with a shure V15 type IV cartridge and the speakers are sansui SP-70.
Can anyone recommend a good vintage amp to compliment these components? (There is a Luxman SQ 606 that I have my eye on.) Do I need some kind of "extra preamp" for the shure v15 cartridge?

Also if anyone has had any experience with the turntable or speakers that I have found, I would be interested to hear your thoughts on them.

There are several existing threads here on specific types of vintage equipment.  Those are your best bets for getting quality answers from those in the know--at least from this forum.
