All I have ever used for portable audio players are iPods. I have an iPod touch(32gb) and an iPod classic(160gb) and I use various IEM's(mainly J3-Buds) and Audio Technica M-50 Studio Headphones with these players. I want to move on to less restricted and higher quality players.
I'm looking for:
I'm not too picky and I don't use headphones that need to be heavily driven but I want it to have nice quality sound and support high quality audio formats.
I'm looking for:
- Highish capacity(At least 30gbs but over 100gbs would be great)
- Lossless capability(optional)
- Reasonably affordable(iPod price range)
- Does not require an amp(at least equivalent to an iPod)
- Touchscreen/No touchscreen doesn't matter
- Adequate computer integration software
- not real bulky but quality is more important than design
- Supports lossless encodongs(or other high quality formats besides MP3 and AAC)
