George Harrison Passes Away At 58

I'm giving away my age, but George was a "hero" of mine in the early 60's. I was 10 in 1963. I liked him better than John, Paul and Ringo because he was the quiet, noble one. It is a sad day. May God bless George and his family.

Was listening to All Things Must Pass driving to the dentist.hIt has stood the test of time for the most part. George was my favorite fab four too.

Was surprised (and pleased) to find my twenty something dentist listening to Beatles music today as well.

Souns like George died as he lived-brave and positive. Hope all of us can do the same.

I took a look and listen back through all my Beatle collection and I realized something interesting.

My 3 favorite Beatle songs are all George Harrison tunes.

1) If I Needed Someone

2) I Want to Tell You

3) Here Comes the Sun

And "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is definitely in the top 10.

He really was a great songwriter.
