A company in my country are selling the Razer Hammerhead Pro + Razer Sabertooth (XboX 360 controller) for about 150$.
Let's split it in half and say that the earphones are 75$.
Is there anything better in that price range for my needs?

Pay attention: Only able to order through Amazon / eBay as I do not live in the USA.

Few key features I'm looking for:
- Good bass + highs
- Microphone

Songs examples:
Clean Acoustic:

Clean Rock:

Rap comes a lot as well:

Rock:

And Psychedelic Trance from time to time:

Thank you :)

Mmmm tough one, I wouldn't recommend buying something you don't need in order to get a pair of headphones nobody really knows how it sounds. So you really need the mic?

First of, I am able to only purchase the earphones for 81$+- / just the controller for 110$+-.
That doesn't really matter though, as I need them both. I was planning on getting a new XboX controller for a while now. That's out of the equation.

So 2 scenarios:
- Either I buy the controller and add 40-45$ for the earphones as well.
OR
- I only buy the controller, and look for a different pair of headphones for 50-60$.

Yes - microphone is a must. I'm using the earphones with my Galaxy S4.

What would you do?

I'm having a hard time searching as I don't use microphones. Currently there are no deals available for headphones with a mic. I liked the M6 when I tried them but the fit is a hit or miss. I suggest you to keep an eye on this thread to see if a deal pop out. Shipping is also important in your case so I rather spend a bit more in order to make the effort worth. I don't live in the States but I have an US address to ship everything I buy.

As I'm looking for a bit more bass, seems like the Soundmagic e10m
would suit me best as the have the largest driver between the three.
Also, it's price range is very nice.

Taken into consideration :)

I would suggest the HisoundAudio BA100. It has android controls and is highly rated here. You can get if from here and is only $5 shipping worldwide:

A bit expensive, but people really seem to applaude them.
I was a bit confused by the "dual drivers" system.
Eveyone's saying they are good balanced, though I'm afraid the bass isn't
giving you that "kick" I'm looking for.

Have you had any experience with them?

Thank you very much!

I believe BA100's are single BA drivers. I have no experience with them just what I read in the reviews. btw, have you looked at these IEM comparison threads:

Wow this is an amazing thread!

After viewing some of the earphones, here are my best options (I believe..):

- Sony MH1C (45$)
- Logitech Ultimate Ears 600vi (49$)
- Audio Technica CKM500i (67.50$)

Opinions?

The Sony MH1C is highly rated. Maybe you can get a good price during the coming holiday sales.

If the sale is online, it doesn't matter if you are from U.S. Anyway I'll trust his opinion on Logitech considering his vast experience in IEMs.

Please also consider the date it has been reviewed because (generaly speaking) newer IEMs would likely be better than older ones. The BA100 is only 1 month old and about $57. Some reviewers rate them better than my $150 H-100s. Being a single BA, I'll just be concerned about the bass, Anyway try asking questions in the particular IEM thread. Since they have it, they can give an opinion based on actual listening. The Vsonic VSD1s are also reviewed well.

BTW, I liked the music video you posted:  "ITP, People are....". I think that was George Carlin's voice in the opening.

The logitech's were reviewed on July of this year.
I seriously doubt it has become irrelevant..

Unfortunately he didn't review the HisoundAudio BA100 or the Vsonic VSD1
so I can't compare them both to the Logitech's.

And yes, it's from George Carlin's comedy act.

Love that one :)
