I got this album a few days ago. I've been impressed with Jules since the cover of "Mad World", and since hearing a couple more songs from his album, I decided to bite on the album. I was not dissapointed. The whole CD includes simple but pleasing music, odd but complex lyrics, and is lengthy enough to feed the need without overstaying/understaying it's welcome.. Jules is definatly an artist on my radar now. I'd highly suggest it.

Anyone else gotten this album?

I have it. I bought it when I was still flailing around trying to find where my musical tastes were, so I don't know what I would think of it today. My impression at the time was that it gave a pleasant listen to my ears, but a lot of the lyrics were cryptic and inaccessible. I'll definitely give it a listen again, though, because I think I'm better at "decyphering" lyrics these days. Who knows? Maybe I'll be posting about it in that thread about re-discovering long forgotten CDs...
