I finally picked up a copy Garbage Version 2.0 yesterday, and I really love the album, but during track #4 there is a series of snapping/popping sounds which occur which sounded very much like some kind of flaw in the pressing. I took the CD back and exchanged it for a new copy, and listening to it now there it is again.

I know that Garbage does a lot of unusual things to the sound of their music, but this seems very out of place for an intentional effect, just out of step with the rythym of the song.

Would someone with this CD please confirm that this is either a defect (bad batch?) or normal.

'Problem' occurs about 00:32 to 00:38, four popping sounds, and again around 1:35 to 1:43, another several.

It's definitely there, but I think it's supposed to be there. Reason being, I just burned a copy of it, and the pops are still there on the copy.
