Hey,

So my friend is looking for a new headset mainly for gaming.
He plays shooters/MOBA games and listens to all kinds of music, so anywhere from classic to dubstep, rock etc.

His budget is around 150$.
He also has an on-board(GA-Z87-HD3) sound card and he assumes that the audio quality will suffer from that, so he either wants headphones that come with a sound card(steelseries siberia) or possibly a stand-alone sound card.
He needs the headphones to have a built-in microphone.

Thanks for the help!

I would say to get the Sennheiser HD558 ($130) and get any add-on mic he likes.
Might consider getting the Asus Xonar DG sound card, $27 and there is a $10 mail in rebate.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I can not seem to find the HD558 around the europe area at all, or for around 150$. the cheapest ones I found were for like 180Euros.
Any other suggestions?

They can be found in Amazon Uk for around 119 Euro, similar price in Spain.

In which part of Europe do you live?

Hello
I am Dekken`s friend
I live in Israel
And I have hard time to find the HD558 in a normal price
The lowest price I find is on amazon uk that ships to Israel for 120 GBP, that over 190$.
And it is without mic or sound card.
Meanwhile I found this deal on ebay for Sennheiser PC 323D witch include mic and external sound card
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sennheiser-PC-323D-504127-/390688304087?pt=UK_Headsets&hash=item5af6d66bd7

Is those headset worth the price? about 160$
And how about the "steelseries siberia v2 usb"? I can get them for about 130$ from local reseller....
Thanks alot!

Ah. Shipping prices, that increases the price considerably.

I'd choose Sennheiser over the Siberia.

How the PC 323D compare to HD558? they look very similar....
Thanks a lot for the help!

The HD558 uses the same driver as the PC360.
