. I'm just trying to convince my dad it's worth it. It has a years warranty on it anyway.

Well. Yeah I would like the a900 as it's the best one of that range. But why's it weigh so much more? There must be something special about it.

My dad thinks it's way to much for headphones.... I need something about it to prove that it's better.

The cups are made out of nice aluminum instead of the plastic used for the other. Also, the cable has a higher thread count.

How did I miss this thread before..

I used to have DT770s connected to my tv running games from my xbox 360. Call of duty 2 gave it monstrous sound. Skip 7.1 channel speakers, it was the most intense gaming experience in terms of sound ever.

Well. Hopefully I can order them sometime today.

I hope that the aluminium proves that it's better.

Ahh. I got another thing. How much sound leakage is there at around mid volume?

Depends on how well it fits your head. I.e the larger your head is, the better the seal. But generally, almost none at all.

I don't think A900 is suited well for fast music. I don't listen to metal but right now I am listening to "Nasenbluten - **** face" (its a 250bpm+ speedcore track) and it just sounds wrong and kinda slower than K81s.

But it could be just me. Congrats on your purchase! Enjoy your new headphones and tell us all how metal sounds on them

BTW I can wear them for 4 hours straight without comfort issues, they're great i n that department even tho they weigh 350grams! You feel like you can wear them for days without problems.

i have a question too... im considering the A900 and the Beyer 770/80's

the thing is, will my amp (pa2v2 and soon to be a millet hybrid) be ok for 770's?

if not, ill probably just go A900
