Gadget to measure headphone output impedance?

Is there a gadget that can be plugged into a 1/4 inch headphone jack and will display the output impedance of the amplifier?

Theres impedance meters that can do it. Also on audiosciencereview they've tested most amplifiers for it also. Most manufacturer spec pages I've seen are pretty accurate on that number.

You could just use a dummy resistor and a multimeter and get a close approximation for cheap.

But why are you doing this and what do you want to achieve? Are you having a problem with an amplifier?

I am looking for a fast and easy way to test the output impedance of headphone jacks. Is there a plug and play solution that doesn't require any other resistors or calculations?
