Cool deal. Wish the MP3+ was more than Windows compatible. Would be good for a work setup.

EDIT: According to a user on Amazon, it does work with Macs and possibly Linux.

Wow, there's some great deals there. Too bad the shipping costs really kill it for anyone outside of the US. On the checkout page it quoted me $35 to ship that USB Soundblaster and a MuVo V100! Bummer.

Thanks for sharing, though. Hopefully some people will be able to get a good deal.

most of the recent & cheap usb audio devices use a universal usb audio driver.

It's old and/or expensive that sometimes doesn't. My M-Audio Sonica needs a firmware loader app in linux, for example.

Isn't that like a Soundblast Live or other kind of external soundcard?

If you choose to only use the USB and optical, it'll just act as a converter? Meaning I can still use my choice of amp?

Well, you'd need a separate DAC to take advantage of the optical output. Otherwise you'll have to plug the amp right in to the line out of the card and use whatever DAC it has inside, which probably isn't fantastic.
