The just released,latest KX drivers for your audigy 2 or SB live have imprved upon SPDIF performance for audigy 2, according to the changelog, so if you are using this perticular card and using the KX drivers I suggest you update, can't seem to hurt.

Update: I installed yesterday and as far as I can tell it clears up some muddiness to the DAC I reported here some time ago that I noticed with the earlier drivers.

I'd use these drivers if they didnt negate the purpose of having a creative soundcard (namely, gaming).

Same here...kinda unfortunate to have to make that choice.
