I currently own the Westone um3x, and IMO these are one of the best IEM's for metal, even exeeding UE11 when both are unamped. I recently became interested in the M5, since I heard that they were bass-monsters with both good quality and quantity. I want to know if it's worth getting one just to see how dynamic drivers compare to BA drivers, since I've not owned a dynamic drvier IEM yet. So, how does the bass on the M5 compare to that of um3x?

fischer audio silver bullet
meelectronic cc51
shure se215
vsonic gr07

i have never heard the atrio's but the dynamics i listed are fast enough to keep up with metal

The energy of a power chord, the depth of the kick drum and bass guitars will blow you away with the Atrio's.

Just look at Future Sonics client list on their website and look at how many rock, metal etc groups use their IEMs.
