I was originally going to purchase a Cambridge Audio Dacmagic from a local dealer, but then I came across the Fubar IV Plus Dac.
Both DAC's have the ability to 'upsample' to 192khz. The Fubar IV Plus costs roughly $200 less than the Dacmagic (in my area, anyways), but Cambridge Audio is a better known brand.
Has anyone tried both of them side by side to compare the sound quality? Would spending the (roughly) $200 more on the Dacmagic be 'worth it' because it's from a better known brand?
I haven't purchase anything yet, so my options are completely wide open.
