Hi folks.
Please, I'd like to know whether it could make sense to upgrade from the iBasso IT01 (with comply foams)/VE monk plus to the Fiio FA7s iems or to the FF5 earbuds.
I'll be using them with a Fiio KA17 dac/amp, along with a pair of Sundara (pre 2020) for mostly casual listenings while working.
I'm downsizing my rig. I was used to listen to a RME ADI-2 DAC FS with the Sundaras (eq-ed). I did really love that sound signature. I did find it neutral and non-fatiguing for long listening sessions (background, while working).
I no longer have the ADI-2, and I'm waiting for the Fiio KA17. No problem using the parametric eq for each headphone/iem.
I have never eq-ed the iBasso, and I found their sound signature a bit too much V shaped for my likings. I'll have to try to eq them with the fiio.
I heave never eq-ed the VE Monk either (no more sponge covers), and I kind of like them, but they're lacking bass at the moment.
Thank you so much.
