Hi all,

I heard people having problems with the UK customs lately on the web and I wanted to check if its because they are actually buying things from ebay and declare as gift or its really gifts that have problems too.

A friend of mine from MA wants to send me for Xmas his used pair of IEMs (the small plastic case that IEMs come with and a bug of tips/adapter). Im located in London.

What is our experience with small packages going from a friend (not seller or ebay thing!) and marked a GIFT to another person in the UK?
Also, do you declare it as "GIFT" or "GIFT - No Commercial value" as I found somewhere?

Thanks
T

chances are high that your package will be held in customs and you have to prove that the IEMs are gift. Even though I do not live in the UK, my experiences in EU are not that good regarding customs especially, if the package comes from outside EU. Since the package is very small, can't you ask someone to bring from US in person?
