One of my friends got the M50's as an early christmas present I think he got them from one of the ebay sellers that is an authorized seller. They work fine, but he says when he widens the cups to put the headphones on it makes a clicking noise, and would like to know if this is normal or if he should return them for an exchange?

I don't remember if they did this during my time listening to them, thanks in advance guys.
