A lot of people I've come across look for the frequency range of the drivers (Headphones or Speakers) and I don't understand why they do so. As far as I am concerned what we actually need to look for is the frequency response of the drivers because thats what makes all the equipment sound good to the ears. Not the range as many drivers are capable of producing a broad range of frequency and they don't have that natural/sublime sound attached to them across the entire spectrum. This is where the coloration, muddiness and few other artifacts come in to the picture.
What do you people say....
