You might have to install it off the w2K cd tho. And if your version dosen't have it then use a programe from Dave Touretzky's Gallery of CSS Descramblers piped to an MPEG player (although you might need to install Linux :eeK
Ironic, that Linux is the only platform that the MPAA did not feel the need to allow a player to be created for, yet is now one of the easiest platforms to get a *free* player for... (unless you count illegal copies of Window$ players)
I don't think a free player will emerge any time soon. License costs would make it a surefire way to lose money, you need to charge some money even to break even.
Yes, win2k does have a DVD player but does not come with a decoder. It just has the DVD interface, which is totally worthless without the decoder HW or SW. Linux is a non-issue.
