It's a poor substitute, but if no Ben & Jerrys nearby, Tuesday nights are $1 scoops at many Baskin Robbins (at least all those I've seen in Northern California).

I've seen it at El Camino in Mtn. View and Sloat in San Francisco. Guessing others (unless I happened to hit the only two). I think after 5 or 6pm. Don't miss the chocolate/peanut butter.
