The first CD release of the Sinatra albums sounds a lot better than the later digital remasters.

See ya

I love Strangers in the Night and In The Wee Small Hours a lot. As for live stuff, his sextet performance in France is beautiful.

But just about everything by this man was excellent, and he was truly innovative, and extremely important in advancing modern popular music. Happy Birthday Frank!

Since so many of you are fans of the "Live at the Sands" album, I thought I'd make mention that a few years ago, a recording was released that is the live set that the Basie Band performend before the performance with Frank. It's an awesome live recording that until recently was not available. If you like the Sinatra album because of the Basie Band, I promise you'll love this album.

Since I asked for your favorites, what are your favorite sounding Sinatra CDs and when were they produced?
