I came across this amp while browsing through eBay :

It's cheaply priced but there's zero information so far that I can find about it's performance.

I'm wondering if '' Mosfet output stage '' here means a discrete one or simply opamp based.

What do you guys think ??

Hmm, seems like a well built amp. Wonder how this compares to the Hifiman EF-2 which uses the same family of tubes and costs around the same.

The EF2 uses a pair of 6J1's, which AFAIK isn't a 12AU7 equivalent. The EF1/EF5 uses one 12AU7, but that's a whole different price range.

Pity I just found an amp for the office...this might be quite tempting otherwise.
