Four channel headphones - for real this time

JVC 4 channel headphones on eBay

Speaking of older JVC headphones, does anybody remember the boxy looking ones they made about 20 years ago? The speakers were mounted in front of your ears instead of being directly outboard of them. The theory was that they would sound more natural. They sounded like a marketing gimmick instead.

I... don't think I can make out the headphone in that picture, looks like a headphone on a pcdp to me... any better pics out there?

look like HEAVILY modded Grados to me......unless that "PCDP" is really part of the headphones

No, you're looking at either the right or left half of a very large enclosed headphone! The two smaller circles are on the other side of where the two small speakers are - in each side. Those things are OLD.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but looking at the photo, it appears to be only one 1/4" pin. So wouldnt that limit it to only 2 channels? Unless maybe the rear 2 channels are rca?
