  yes.I have many headphones and I own many cables.the custom cans is the most 'economic while the other 3 are more' expensive but they are made of pure copper 7n occ

No buy them both, they Have complimentary sound qualities. They are not the same, not one is better but what do you prefer. Scroll through this thread and HD800S and try them out.

No, he means the HD800 is not a replacement for the TH-900 or vice versa. If you like both you can have 2 rather different sounding headphones that you prefer with different genres of music.

@apaar123 if I were to choose between the HD800 and the TH900 I would choose the TH900 hands down.  But that is my preference.  What kind of music do you listen to?  What type of sound signature do you like?

The TH900 is a much better all around headphone I think.  There is a lot of quality bass and it is so clear and concise.  Plus the build and aesthetics are to die for.  The Urushi lacquer cups are way cool.  Very nice headphone.

And the TH-900 does well with every kind of music, it's not a typical EDM headphone as some suggest (I never listen to EDM) but the deep and taut bass it has makes me understand why EDM lovers like it.
I'm not a big fan of the HD800 and I sold mine long ago but I would prefer it over the TH-900 for classical music though.
But I have another pair of phones for that.
