I only have a pc but i have in my possession a mac formatted iPod 5th gen Video

When i plug it into xp nothing comes up on my laptop (but the ipod does charge)

without windows or itunes recognizing the ipod (i dont have a mac, and dont have access to one) how can i convert this ipod from mac to fat format.

When I owned an iPod (Mac-formatted), XP would usually tell me that it needed to be formatted when I plugged it in.

If it doesn't do that, you can always use the free trial of MacDrive 7 to get XP to recognize the iPod - then you'll be able to format it. I'm not sure if iTunes will recognize it though. You might have to do it from Windows Explorer.
