what's the reasoning behind getting those?

seems to be a professional-use headphone that was originally developed for devices to sample CD's in record stores... I think there would be better for the price.

I remember listening to Nakamichi setups in Japan last year.
For ex in the HMW store in Shibuya .

Not sure which model, but I liked the sound.
