Just wondering, for those that decided to send your Raptor back to Ray for his recently offered capacitor changes to the amp section, how do you find the sound? How would you describe the changes to the sound? Do enjoy the Raptor more or less?

Ray took mine home with him after the last meet, and did the upgrade, with it being returned to me before the week was out. The new caps need to be burned-in, so you never get a semblance of direct comparison.
However incremental improvements in dynamics, bass responce and slam are noticeable. The SS turns slightly warmer, enough to re-think tube options. Would I do it again? Yes, it is better now.
