So should I stick with the 595s for rock, or cash out $100 for MS-1?

Now, that IS a tough question!

For rock I am extremly satisfied with my MS2i. They do a great job with rock right up through the lighter forms of classical.

Perhaps your wallet is already enough in geopardy that you may wish to re-think your can options and almost start over.

My current plan(open to interpretation at any point) is my MS2i for rock and HD-580/600 for classical to follow.

Of course we all hear differently and have different tastes in music, so some variation of "complementary cans" may be a route you may wish to explore.

Yes; but please be carefull!!

They are indeed the "gateway drug"!

They lead me right to my MS2i!!

....and since the Wife(and kids)took the MS-1s over, there is increased pressure on me to procure some Ducky Pads for them!
