I hear from a friend that both are good
but which is good for me is what I want to know
I travel a lot by bus where people are talkative so I need some silence but decent sound
I willing to give up silence if the sound isnt good, for, better sound
Keeping these two models in mind which would be a better choice?
BTW this is for a minidisc player

I love to buy etymotics but they are too out of my range

Ex70 all the way - if the bus is noisy, the 888s are pretty useless. They provide almost no isolation.....whereas the ex70s provide more than a lot of closed full-size cans! In addition, there are plenty of mods you can do the EX70s that make them sound quite pleasant..
