Hey Guys, I have the LATEST version of Foobar2000 and I have Kernel Streaming as well. What are the exact settings I need to have the best audio quality on my PC? I own a Soundblaster X-Fi. thank you!

x-fi supports ASIO natively so I'd grab the foobar plugin for that instead of kernel streaming. set the card to audio creation mode and enable bit-perfect output in the options. add the ASIO device in foobar and set that as your output.

i left my card at 44.1khz, i'm not sure if there's an advantage in going to 96.

One more question. while im running Output Device: ASIO: Creative ASIO
on the bottom i see 1000 ms. shall i change that to something else? does it effect sound quality?

No, it's just the length of a buffer foobar keeps in RAM. Basically, if you apply some aftereffect, e.g. EQ, it will only manifest after 1 sec (since foobar has 1000 ms of music prepared in advance of what is playing at the moment, and what's already in the buffer will not get EQ'd retroactively). Same goes for digital volume changes.
