how do you show the volume control on the thing! I can only modify volume by going to the preferences!!!

Aside from the volume control in preferences, foobar doesn't have another volume control.

I just use Windows volume control when I use foobar.

Go to foobar2000->preferences.
On the tree, look for Playback and choose DSP Manager.
Add the volume control DSP to the Active DSP list.

While the window focus is on the foobar2000 window, you can use the +/- key to adjust the volume.

I run the Foopilot skin and it has a little volume slider, don't use it though.

Use the hotkeys as pedxing suggests. Quick, convenient, and effective. Once you get used to using them, you won't ever want to see another slider.

Beautiful. I was browsing some site that had thumbnailed panels for columns_ui & saw volume controls on some. I'm all for keyboard > mouse!

that's foo_uie_volume adds a volume control option in the toolbars/sidebar
