Any of you guys know why my Foobar2k(9.3) won't put my tracks in order? I have tried to play with it, but, no luck.

Any opinions? I have tried to fix the tags, but, that doesn't help. Most of the FLAC files are right, but, some arn't.

How are you adding them? I find sometimes it gets order "wrong" if I drag/add files, but does it correctly for a whole directly (not "select all", but the directory as a single item). My guess is that some piece of Explorer goes and sets the order.

I go up to library->rescan Library. As I said, it works for most of the Flac files, but, almost none of the mp3.

is your sorting string setup properly?

Pref > General > Sort incoming files by:

try this:

%artist%$num(%date%,4)%album%$num(%tracknumber%,2) |%_path%

I usually just sort by file path. Of course, if your files aren't numbered correctly, they'll come out looking a lot like what you've got there.
