Hey guys, I am trying to give foobar a chance because of how many people around here seem to use it, but it is SO confussing! How do I stop the playlist from showing th album name? I just want it to be very simplistic... show the artist, song name, and length. Thats all I want. Also, how can I get a volume contol to show up on the player? Thanks!

I think the easiest way to get the custom look you want is to use Columns_UI.

go into Foobar's preferences -> display -> title formating.
under the "playlist" tab
delete everything and insert the following string:
%_playlist_number% %artist% - %title% %_length%
