I' have been using simple version of foobar and had no problems, but i decided to try one of the themes they have in devianart. But now whenever i play some songs on mp3 albums i have that have embedded tags, some of them get removed(pic below)

i don't wanna go back to the simple bland colorless foobar since I'm not too good with customizing it, but i also don't wanna loose the pictures of the mp3 songs whenever i buy albums that have the tags.  so wut dew i do head-fi ?

What Foobar version do you have and what components have you installed? It is not easy to suggest ideas it totally depends on how one has configured Foobar, but you can check the following to see if it helps ...

Try Preferences > Advanced > Tagging > MP3  ==> make sure the "Forced prefered tag writing scheme on all files regardless of existing tags" is unchecked

and

Preferences > Advanced > Tools > Playback Statistics > again make sure "Automatically synchronize file tags with statistics" is unchecked.
