Am currently trying to get Kernel Streaming to work out of Foobar via MicroDAC usb but I end up with no output, tried to use the ASIO plugin and ASIO4ALL with similar results. When I used the Winamp ASIO Plugin and ASIO4ALL it seemed to work fine (despite the skipping issues I ran into). Has anyone had a similar experience to mine? I think right now I'm going to have to hunt down a soundcard with a bit perfect spdif out.

Probably because the card's driver only accepts 16 and 24 bit padded to 32 bit, but not "pure" 32 bit. Try 24 bit padded to 32, or 24 only.

JMcMasterJ, have you been able to notice any difference in the sound using ASIO4ALL?

I can't find any differences either but right now Im just using 32-bit fixed output. I've also tried tweaking settings to eliminate the occasional skipping whilst using the lappy but I just can't seem to figure something good out, I guess I'll just have to live with it for the time being.
