Foobar 0.9 out!
Mar 19, 2006 at 9:59 PM Post #16 of 124
with the old thing, my files would double in size when i used foobar and itunes (for example, lossless Beethovenths 9th in my itunes library and foobar, would equal double the size of just one beethoven in the itunes library). do you guys know if this is fixed....or how to avoid this in the first place?

Thanks guys for "Columns UI" and "Kernel Streaming" links. Everything is working perfectly.

I made an A/B test between 0.83 and 0.9 both with Kernel Streaming. 0.9 sounds better and has more dynamics. Is it placebo or anybody else heard the improvement?

Another question, is there WMF support?

Sounds weird. Why would this new version sound any better?

There are ME diehards!? Wasn't that regarded to be the worst Windows OS made? I know first-hand that it was pretty lousy, no idea why people would want to keep using it.

http://www.foobar2000.org/components/index.html
does the component solve the problem?

And also for the lack of ASIO support, there's at least Kernel Streaming for now.

For the PC USB out users, having no ASIO will be a problem?

Will KS still get a bitperfect stream out?
