hi
im in need for a pair of speaker for my laptop right now.
i have the Focusrite Scarlett 2i4.
As i saw the logitech z333 on sale, im wondering if its possible to only use the speaker as 2.0 system without the Subwoofers?
the logitech use the two speakers by rca to connect to the subwoofers.
Im wondering if i can just take the rca (one from each speaker) to 2i4 ? will it work ?
dont i need some kind of power supply for the speaker ? or can 2i4 handle it?

There is a control knob on the back of the Z333 for controlling the sub-woofer's bass output, you can just turn it all the way down.

You just need to run dual RCA to dual RCA, from the 2i4  to the Z333.

The Z333 is self-powered, so the 2i4 is just sending an analog audio signal, not amplification, to the Z333.

It appears the sub-woofer unit is what powers the speaker units, so the sub-woofer can not be removed.
