Hi,
Overall, I'm very pleased with my German Maestro GMP 8.35 D, but the 6.5kHz and above range is too loud for my taste, confirmed by the graph attached:

I'm looking for an acoustic (rather then electrical) solution, that will not hurt the dynamic range or clarity of the headphones.

Please advice.

Hello there,

I was cycling round here and saw your post. I have a pair of German Maestro's and noticed the bump around 6khz. I cut a double layered piece of paper napkin (round shape of the ear cup) .. and after several test, that frequency region came down with aprox 3-6 db (tried with an eq and a ear cup without the napkin and one with). Also the earpads make a real difference as well.
