Hey guys I could use some advice.
The current set-up I have produces floor noise, that I am not comfortable with. I'm using a very sensitive set of Klipsch Wb-14's and a so-so amp, the SMSL SA-50 to power them. The audio runs through a DAC, and I've identified the low sounding "hiss" in my speakers to be floor noise.
Instead of going out and spending big $$ on an expensive amp, I may replace my speakers with a set-up that produces less floor noise. Anyone have suggestions? I'm looking for mid-level speakers, powered, or passive, that will produce natural sound with modest bass.
