i recommend that anyone trying these read ljokerl's review over at theheadphonelist dot com.

the review gives a good explanation of the tuning system, and thus allows you to find your preferred signature efficiently, as opposed to trying all 36 combinations randomly.

if you decide to get these, i recommend comply tips.  the t-400 series fits and gives both comfort and much improved isolation.

Yes, I have a link to Joker's review in the first post. And I'll give foamies a shot, but my inclination is to try foam-filled hybrids first. A good compromise between foam and silicon.

Heads-up guys, the tour will start soon. I'm just waiting on the original FLC 8 black cable which is more supple and is said to warm up the sound a bit.

Or maybe not. Just got word that I might be getting in Forrest Wei's favorite Lotoo DAP(s) to pair up with the FLC 8S. Looks like the tour is going to be even more fun than any of us thought. I'll update as I find out more!
