I got my MS-1's today. Sound pretty good. Way better than the Sennheiser 497's I was listening to before. How much of an improvement will I get with Todd's Flats. $30 seems like a lot of money but if the consensus is that they are worth the money I will buy.

I have flats and bowls for my sr225s and flats are much better. And more comfy (non abrasive) too

I must chime in and mention that it is a good idead to try the senn pads on to get an idea of the sound on the MS-1,-2 or the pro.
I did and am back to the bowls now.
The Alessandro's are tuned differently to the Grado's
The Flatswill help with the Grados
I don't know about the Alessandros.
Just a suggestion.
If you like Senn pads then you can always buy the Flats.

bowls seem to bring the alesandro ms1 more alive they seem like the have a cloud over them with the comfies and flats.
