I'm looking for a flash player with a strong FM tuner. That means it has to catch most of the stations in "stereo" while provinding high quality sound. The player part also has to have quality audio. Other feature are just bonuses. Any suggestions?

A starting point would be the Cowon iAudio series of flash players. Of course, any player's FM reception would depend in part on signal strength, and whether you're listening indoors or outside, etc. But in terms of "quality audio," as you put it, the iAudios meet that part of your criteria.

Model YP-T7 has 45dB S/N and 10 dB sensitivity on FM.

It compares favorably to good quality portable and table radios.

Looked for iAudio specs but thay are not listed on the web site (didn't try dling a manual).

Samsung also has 7 band eq, 20 presets, and records up to 192 bitrate.

I remember Austin (austonia) doing a test a couple of years ago: the built-in FM tuner on an iRiver vs a standalone Sony FM tuner (with top marks); the iRiver won IIRC, so that says something of their tuners.

FWIW, the FM tuner on my Creative MuVo TX FM works quite nice too.
