Hi,

I want to rip my CDs to FLAC. I hope this is a question that does not break any forum rules since I am ripping music I have purchased.

I wanted to ask what is the best PC software to achieve best quality FLAC rips.
Also any advise on rippers for other high quality audio files would be appreciated also.

/ Thank you in advance!

The best Windows based PC software for ripping CDs to flac as well handling almost anything having to do with digital audio files is dbPowerAmp: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/

If you use Linux then I would have a look at Asunder. It's very easy to use and can download track metadata from the internet. I'm using it to rip my entire CD library to FLAC. I've got as far as bands beginning with 'E' so far - it's taking ages!
