Hello. I have more of an eclectic taste. I listen to things that are generally difficult to find in more comercialized stores. I listen to the following genres:

Progressive Metal
Power Metal
Underground Rap
Freeform Hardcore
Melodic Death Metal
GOA Trance
DNB
IDM
Classical
Jazz
Anime/game soundtrack bull

If people can steer me in the right direction, i'd be very happy. I'm specifically looking for the following albums in FLAC format currently:

Mercy Falls by Seventh Wonder
Everlasting Songs by FictionJunction
FictionJunction 2008-2010 The BEST of Yuki Kajiura LIVE by Yuki Kajiura and Fiction Junction
Seventh Heaven by Kalafina
Overworld by Machinae Supremacy
Redeemer by Machinae Supremacy
A View From The End Of The World by Machinae Supremacy
Resurrection by Galneryus
Waiting in The Wings by Seventh Wonder
Selling Live Water by Sole

Individual songs in FLAC:

Rise by Origa
Inner Universe by Origa
Godsibb by Yuki Kajiura
A Parenthasis In Eternity by Scar Symmetry
No Surrender by Bone Thugs n Harmony
Izgrala (Traveler '03 version) by Lumin
Reign of Terror by Rhapsody of Fire
Tell Me a Story by SGX
More Than a Weapon by SGX
Ai by Shinkou Shuukyou Gakudan NoGoD
Modern Strange Cowboy by GRANRODEO
Call Me Call Me (Cowboy Beebop Soundtrack)

The only place that I know of to buy FLAC is at HDtracks, there are probably other places, but I've never heard of them.

For "electronic" music I  recommend these store (they all offer lossless, and you can use paypal):
http://www.djdownload.com/  (great prices)
http://boomkat.com/
https://www.beatport.com/ (expensive, but some albums are released in exclusivity there).

Otherwise,  frankly ,  there's more & more flac music shared on the web (it's not legal, but you can't ignore this).

Beatport is an excellent site, albeit a little more expensive.

EDIT: You pay extra to get WAV format and then convert it if you want.

EDIT2: I use Beatport because they have the best interface I've seen for a music purchasing site. I LOVE the layout, although...it's too easy to spend money. lol

Bandcamp is great for getting some of the great lossless video game interpretations that people have made. Sadly, Super Barrio Bros got removed for some reason before I could buy a flac of it

Your probably not going to find a FLAC site that sells Japanese music and games soundtracks in CD quality format. I usually just buy CD's of the few Visual Kei bands I want to support from CDJapan and buy the rest off of legal MP3 websites. I then download the rest in lossless from various places. CD's are pretty expensive in Japan, 3800yen seems to be standard over there and spending $35 on a CD is crazy compared to what I'm used to, although production value seems to be higher there, not really sure.

I've been looing for a lossless copy of FictionJunction 2008-2010 The BEST of Yuki Kajiura LIVE     for a while and am about to cave in and order it on CD, to much good stuff there lol.

Also, if your into video game music I'm sure you already know of OC Remix, but check out their albums section, a lot of stuff in there is lossless and mixed very well. "Summoning of Spirits: An Arrangement of Music from Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Symphonia" is excellent. The opening track "The Unholy Wars (Fighting of the Spirit)" is EPIC.

The low bitrates there are a shame, but I still keep a folder dedicated to my favorite peices from OCRemix and AnimeRemix, but get absolutely miserable whenever I try to listen to the MP3's on any hp's other than my S4's (single dynamic driver IEM). Sal, why did you have to make such a beautiful arangement of Dan Dan Kokoro from DBGT and release it in 128kbps MP3?!?!

makes me wanna cry...
